Professional folding rotary tiller PANTERA is Maschio’s answer for farm contractors and large farms with greater demands. Sturdy frame and high quality materials mean high standard of productivity and reliability, together with easy and safe road transportation. 4 working widths are available (420, 470, 520 and 570 cm) to match with tractors from 160 to 300 HP

Features 4 hydraulic rams to fold to 2.49 m for safe road transportation. It also incorporates an automatic transport lock, so there is no need for the driver to leave the tractor cab to unfold.

Each bearing has a double rail consisting of two rows of spherical or barrel bearings to cope with heavy workloads. Main Advantages: long Life (up to 30% longer life than traditional taper roller bearings), high load capacity, easy maintenance.

Transmission comes through central T-box to the side gears and to reduce the speed a planetary gears system made by 4 tempered gears reduces the speed from 1000 rpm to 260 or 330 rpm (depending to the central T-box gearbox). The system is extremely reliable and maintenance free. Gears are lubricated with oil for the best performance in every soil condition and metal face seals are dust and water proof.

The new Duo-Cone sealing system guarantees reliability without the need for maintenance. You can achieve at least 50% longer life from the Duo-Cone system than standard sealing systems in the most demanding working environments.
The sealing system is completely waterproof or “amphibious” allowing the rotor and bearing to run in its own oil supply. This allows the rotor to work and be reliable in the dustiest of environments. Even immersed in water, the seals will prevent water and dust ingress into the rotor and hubs.
